Not your parents'
consultant.

01

We just did this.

Last cycle, not a decade ago. We know which supplemental prompts are new, which essay angles are tired, and which scholarships are worth the extra application. That knowledge expires fast — ours hasn't.

02

A fraction of the price.

Traditional firms charge $5,000–$15,000+. We're peer mentors — no overhead, no corporate markup. You get invested, experienced guidance at a cost most families can actually afford.

03

We speak the language.

Students open up to us differently than they do to a 45-year-old advisor. That honesty makes better essays. We know what "authentic" actually sounds like because we were writing those essays twelve months ago.

01
Free Intro Call

We learn where you are, what you're working with, and what you're trying to build. No commitment, no pitch — just a real conversation about your profile and goals.

02
Custom Plan

We map out a plan specific to your grade, timeline, and goals. For 9th–11th graders that's a project roadmap. For seniors, it's an app calendar from summer through December.

03
We Get to Work

Regular sessions, check-ins, and feedback throughout the process. We're the mentors — you do the work, build the story, and own the outcome.

The stuff people
actually ask.

How is Admit Team different from other college consultants?
We just went through this process — last cycle, not a decade ago. That means we know what's actually working in 2026: which essays land, which activity list framings stand out, which scholarships are worth chasing. We're peer mentors, not retired admissions officers, which also means we're a fraction of the cost of traditional firms.
How much do your services cost?
Pricing depends on the package and how much support you need. We're significantly more affordable than traditional consulting firms (which typically run $5,000–$15,000+). Reach out for a free intro call and we'll give you a clear quote based on your goals — no pressure, no hidden fees.
Do you guarantee admission to specific schools?
No — and you should be skeptical of anyone who does. What we can guarantee is a sharper application than you'd produce alone: a more strategic school list, stronger essays, a clearer narrative, and a better-organized timeline. Admissions outcomes depend on factors no consultant controls, but how you present yourself is something we directly improve.
When should I start working with you?
Sooner is better. Rising 12th graders should start in summer — apps open in August. Rising 11th graders benefit most from starting in spring or early summer to lock in a passion project before junior year. Rising 9th and 10th graders have the biggest upside since you have years to build something real. That said, we work with people at every stage.
How are sessions conducted?
Sessions are virtual via Zoom or Google Meet — works for students anywhere. We also stay connected between sessions through text and email so you're not stuck waiting if you have a quick question. For local Howard County students, in-person sessions can be arranged.
What if I don't know what my passion project should be?
That's literally the most common starting point — and exactly what we're here for. Our first few sessions focus on figuring out what you actually care about, what you're naturally good at, and what kind of project would make sense given your time, resources, and goals. You don't need to come in with a plan; you just need to come in.
Do you only work with high-achieving students?
Not at all. We work with students across the spectrum — anyone serious about getting the most out of their college process. The strategies that got us into T20s also work for state schools, smaller liberal arts colleges, and merit scholarship competitions. Strong applications matter no matter where you're applying.
How do scholarships factor into your services?
Heavily. Between us we earned $1.5M+ in merit aid — including three full rides — so scholarship applications are part of our standard senior package. We help you identify which named scholarships you're competitive for, prep for finalist interviews, and write the supplemental essays that make the difference.
What happens after the free intro call?
Zero pressure. After the call, we'll send you a written summary of what we discussed and a proposed plan if it seems like a fit. You decide whether to move forward — no follow-up sales calls, no aggressive nudging. If you sign on, we get to work right away.
Are you actually qualified to do this?
Fair question. Between us: 23 acceptances, 5 T20 admits (UPenn, Cornell, Duke, Northwestern, CMU), 3 full-ride scholarships (Stamps President's Scholar at Georgia Tech, Banneker Key at UMD, Johnson Scholar at W&L), and Isha admitted to Penn and attending UMD on the Banneker Key scholarship. More importantly, we've helped friends and classmates through their applications throughout the process. Now we're making it official.
